Hope for Pakistan

Mashal Trust was established in April 2010 to provide education for those in need, particularly for underprivileged children.We are a non-political, non-sectarian and non-governmental charity organisation. We aim to provide education to create awareness in the hopes of eradicating human suffering, poverty and disease within afflicted communities.

WHAT WE DO

Educating Pakistan

We aim to provide education to create awareness hence eradicating human suffering, poverty and disease within afflicted communities. Unfortunately where we work, there are few suitable education facilities available for children outwith expensive private institutions, affordable to a privileged few.Underprivileged children are at a higher risk of being exploited and lack safety and security as their parents are busy providing. Many underprivileged families still do not see the importance of a high-quality education.

Unfortunately where we work, there are few suitable education facilities available for children outwith expensive private institutions, affordable to a privileged few.Mashal Trust supports bright and ambitious, but disadvantaged, students through higher education to give them real opportunity to change the course of their lives for the better.

Just £16 a month can sponsor a students education fees, uniforms and supplies to help them flourish and succeed.

GIRLS ONLY SCHOOL | MANSEHRA

Education for Girls

We noticed the need for a safe and accessible facility for girls in Hajjiabad, Mansehra where girls' schooling was overlooked. In 2017 we opened up the first girls school in the area for primary and high schooling. There are currently over 100 girls studying at the facility and building their confidence.We have appointed teachers from local area hence giving them an opportunity to work in their own village and be a part of building up the community.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Sewing School

The Mansehra Girls School doubles as an evening sewing school for ladies in the area. These largely uneducated women have no means to help provide for their families or any employable skills, keeping them disadvantaged in society.These evening classes allow women to join at a convenient time and they sew clothes which can then be sold to help financially support their families.The sewing machines and materials have been generously donated by UK sponsors.
